Occasionally, one sees a person driving along with a pet on her/his lap. This is a clear sign of insanity! Even a well-behaved pet that always stays in the rear of the vehicle should, in a sensible way, be physically prevented from ever being able to get to the driver (e.g. a secured leash or a pet barrier). The possibilities, if your pet gets wound up about another animal outside the car or gets frightened by a loud noise or an incident, should be self-evident. |
